My students are loving and caring.
They are eager to learn and full of energy. They try hard and give 100% in each task they come across.
They are a delight to be around each day. I love my school and I attended the school as a child. The neighborhood is not the best, but the students' dedication to get their education is amazing.
My Project
Reading Comprehension Bingo, Can Do Comprehension Game, Reading Fluency Comprehension Script, and the Five Minute Vocabulary cards are just a few materials that will help my students be able to successfully rotate through five daily stations.
Comprehension Bingo is a great way to reinforce reading comprehension skills. With Fluency Comprehension Scripts, students will build fluency and comprehension skills as they read high-interest passages together during shared and guided reading. This is an area where our students perform poorly.
The Five Minute Word Vocabulary cards will allow students to become better acquainted with using context clues, defining idioms,and identifying synonyms & antonyms. Students will be actively engaged in discovery learning, peer to peer interaction, and self guided pacing. Learning will be differentiated and attend to the various learning styles of the students.
This project will increase student academics.
Students will be more excited about learning and more willing to share their knowledge with their peers. It will help me, the teacher, be a better facilitator. Their lives will be changed by knowing others care for them just as much as I do.
