My Students
When was the last time you had to sit in an uncomfortable chair, sustain concentration for long periods of time, work hard and prove competency at a complex task? This is what is expected of students every day in the classroom. It is hard work! These wiggly learners need a little extra help.
My students need 4 Hokki Stools which will allow for active learning throughout the day.
Learning is hard work, made easier when students can wiggle, tip, bounce and move in their seats. Engaging the whole body in learning will enhance student's enthusiasm and memory of a task.
My Project
These stools will be ideal for small group work when students are asked to concentrate on new, difficult tasks. But how great will they be to take back to the desks for students with special needs and sensory issues who struggle to concentrate throughout the day?!
Students learn best when they are actively engaged in a task.
Third grade is a turning point in students education where they learn foundational pieces of reading, writing and math. Mastery of these skills will be a stepping stone to lifelong academic success. Having fun with these skills will be the stepping stone to a lifelong love of learning. Help me make learning FUN and educational for even the wiggliest of learners!
