My Students

My group of kindergarten students call themselves "Shinning Starts," and they truly are. Not only do they come into our class eager to learn, but they are also ready to jump on the opportunity to help other students.

The students in my class are socio economically disadvantaged and are learning the English language.

For many, this is the first time ever setting foot in a classroom environment. Our school emphases the importance of responsibility, attentiveness, and the importance of setting high expectations.

My Project

With the use of a stylus, the "shinning stars" in my class with have the opportunity to work on his/her fine motor writing skills on different educational apps on the iPad. I know that the stylus will encourage various writing techniques, and allow students to shine.

Through this donation, my students will have the skills necessary for future careers, which will inevitably use wireless technology.

In addition, the stylus allows each student to work at his/her own learning level. My students love technology, so they are sure to be interested in learning, if they can use the tools they love.
