Motivation is a tough thing to get when we are talking about teaching children. I want to spark their imagination and inspire them to achieve higher than they ever thought possible. TIME For Kids magazines will bring knowledge and motivation to life for my kids.
I have a fantastic group of Hispanic children that lack funds to buy anything like this for their own use.
They are smart, sweet, and very willing to learn. They are 3rd graders. Unfortunately for them, our school is also a low income school so we also lack the funds to purchase amazing magazine subscriptions such as TIME For Kids.
My Project
If we had TIME For Kids subscriptions, it would motivate my kiddos to learn and to be accountable for their own learning. They will also be exposed to real world situations and issues that surround them while learning nonfiction texts and its features. This magazine aligns perfectly with our curriculum. Since I'm a bilingual teacher, I would love if you had a Spanish version but if not, no problem. They will benefit just as much. You would be brightening their life and knowledge.
By providing us with this magazine subscriptions, you would be benefiting and positively impacting the lives of many young children and motivating them to learn and notice the world around them.
