My Students

"Repetition is the mother of learning..." -Zig Ziglar But it's so boring! Flash cards are effective but not the most engaging activity.

My students are the hardest workers!

They love trying new things and are always excited to learn. We are a Title I school and we don't always have access to a lot of the new and exciting technology. Our staff tries hard to accommodate and find ways to supply our students with new ways to learn.

My Project

Remember having to memorize your times tables or practice math using a boring rote worksheet? Imagine being able to do these repetitive tasks while engaged in the format of an exciting game on a tablet! Students love technology, love "playing" fact games on the computer, and don't realize they are actually practicing on tools they enjoy. My class lacks the technology resources to have every child practicing facts on tablets daily.

These tablets will allow my students to use technology in fun and exciting ways!

Integrating technology into the classroom is definitely a great way to reach diversity in learning styles. They will be able to engage in their learning in a way that is totally different.
