Fourth grade students from our elementary school are so excited to visit Camp Arroyo for three days of outdoor education.
Students at our school come largely from hard-working immigrant families.
They are so happy for the chance to learn and grow at an outstanding school like ours. Their teachers are so happy to get to teach at an outstanding school like ours! Nevertheless, finding funding for essential supplies is always a challenge.
My Project
I am requesting basic supplies to support a fourth grade outdoor education trip taken annually by students at our school. Folders will hold materials, band-aids will help mend scrapes on the trail, and colored ribbon will identify student luggage for easy collection and delivery.
This will be many students' first trip to the wild outdoors.
They will come face to face with science lessons in a living, outdoor classroom. Many students will have their perspectives on life sciences change at this one-of-a-kind camp.
