So Many Students, So Little To Read

My students need well-written current books to catch their interests as readers and propel them into a life-long love of books. These include the Harry Potter Paperback Box Set, "The Rithmatist," "Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes" and "Lola and the Boy Next Door."

My Students

With books being made into second-rate movies left and right, students have little motivation to read anymore. My students need interesting books to keep them devoted as readers.

My students are great kids that have seen too many movies, played too many video games, and spent too much time trolling the Internet.

They need the opportunity to fall in love with literature once again. My students are eager to learn and grow, they just need a little nudge.

My Project

We will use these amazing books to activate the literary imaginations of my students once again, inspiring them to unleash the readers that have lain dormant within them for so long. I've selected several high interest titles, like Harry Potter, Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, and more, along with new books like The One and Only Ivan and Allegiant that will keep mys students reading. I will make these books available for all students to read and explore in my classroom library.

We need to these books to break students of their video game/B-movie habits.

My students are ready to grow, they just need your help to become the life-long readers they can be. Please help me to show them the magic of reading!
