My Students

My classroom environment, Wolkis Wonderland, caters to the individual needs of each unique learner. From the Bulletin Boards boasting the mastered curriculum to the Learning Labs that encourage discovery and foster imagination. "Every student can learn, Just not on the same day, Or in the same way."

My Junior Learners are highly motivated human sponges.

They are thirsty and hungry for everything I put on the Daily Knowledge Menu. Envision my bright Kindergarten kiddos engaged at innovative, versatile seating used for reading corners, group work, assisted learning, imaginative play and building projects that shine a light on the vibrant conversations heard throughout the school day. Parents are extremely interested in their children not only succeeding, but, excelling in everything they attempt. I have accepted the challenge to offer my students the most creative and fun environment that will appeal to this energetic, constantly growing & learning group of investigators. These inviting seating arrangements will provide innovative learning spaces that also liven up the engagement temperature. Our school is an amazing place that has been recognized by the state as an A Rated school. We are part of a District that leads us on a Journey of Excellence to cultivate World-Class Thinkers.

My Project

I am committed to preparing every child to be successful for life in the 21st century, and in creating a safe and nurturing environment for all students. When children feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for, they can build their confidence, achieve success, and reach their potential both academically & socially. These seating arrangements will foster such a place for active workers to show their S.P.A.R.K. behavior. When sitting on these relaxed yet effectively motivating pod groupings, children will participate more in cooperative learning groups where they exhibit S.afe, P.ositive, A.ppropriate, R.esponsible and K.ind manners. Please join me, as a partner, in this journey to make a positive impact on every child who enters the doors of my incredible classroom. These engaging & inviting areas will reinvigorate my teaching & their learning. I look forward, with your support, to continue creating learning stations that nurture the academic, social and emotional needs of each child.

Even though we don't qualify for any Title I funds, we could still benefit from assistance in meeting our educational goals.

A desire to offer my children a form of adaptive equipment to heighten their learning experiences is not covered under our district's traditional room of furniture. So, I am seeking community support to fund this alternative setting which will offer children the motivation and inspiration to focus on their assigned tasks as they enthusiastically enter learning adventures.
