This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The world of technology is ever changing and so is my classroom! Teaching Business Technology includes introducing students to new tech and how they can use it in the "Real World". By infusing various apps, having people "visit" virtually, and incorporating projects students are learning daily!

Business Technology at our middle school is taught to 6th-8th grade students.

Our students learn best through hands-on activities and we have recently introduced iPads and "app smashing" in Project Based Learning. Project Based Learning allows our students to personalize their learning and use the resources we have along with their own through BYOT. Our school is making the switch to a more technology driven school and we are focused on making our students 21st century learners and ready to tackle the world head on!

My Project

Receiving the materials requested would allow my students to use our iPads in a more fluid manner! We do not have keyboards and they are not protected well with the basic cases we currently have. It would be an amazing thing to have our iPads safe with rugged cases and to have access to keyboards for blogging, sharing, and creating. Having a stand for the iPad, or any tablet(s) we may have, will allow us to share the tablet screen with the class and students. We are currently inviting "guest speakers" through virtual interviews and this would take our class to the next level.

Your donation will increase our classroom wealth of technology by offering students an opportunity to use our current resources more often and to protect them for longevity.

Having the tablet stand, will provide a more stable way to share work, have "guests", and work collaboratively with other schools! These resources will enhance our students learning immensely and will be cherished by all.
