Robotics: Providing STEM Learning Opportunities

My Students

Engineering and Technology skills are a huge asset to our students in preparing for the future. Using the VEX program, students are able to design, engineer, create and program robots by working together and strategizing with teams from our community through exciting weekly leagues/tournaments.

Our students are passionate about technology and creating robots that perform certain tasks.

They are diligent in their work, constantly rethinking, reengineering and collaborating together for an effective program which leads to a successful robot.

My Project

As students design and build the robot, the computers will be used in the programming of the robot. Using software on the computers, students will program the robots to perform various tasks including driving ability, specific actions and to run autonomously. This is an essential part of our Robotics Program.

Having the computers available for our students will provide multiple opportunities for hands-on learning using programming software.

This is a new Robotics Program for our students and having the computers will allow for multiple teams to create robots and have greater access to technology. Most importantly, it will prepare them for engineering and applied science career paths.
