My Students

Second grade students are capable and dependable learners. They enjoy the freedom and responsibility of working on activities and assignments alone, with a partner, or small group. In our classroom every student can become a teacher!

We will be the first group in a brand new school.

It will be very exciting being the first group in a beautiful new building. However, a brand new building also means limited materials and tools. Our class will flourish with the addition of a few extra tools!

My Project

We are requesting student timers and a class size timer to help us stay focused and on track with our activities and lessons. We will build time management skills early on that will benefit us for the rest of our lives! Timers will also help build stamina with skills such as reading fluency.

We will use our new timers to learn how to balance our work load, prioritize, and stay focused.

Students will be able to accomplish more and more on-task learning as they build stamina with the timers.
