My students need 6 nonfiction book sets to have books to take home every night to spark their interest in order to create lifelong readers!

My Students

I would like to inspire every child to read and love it! I would like to be able to show them all the possibilities that life has to offer! I hope to create a classroom library that will do just this.

Kindergarten students are naturally inquisitive and I want to engage them on as many levels as I can.

They have the potential to become doctors, lawyers, nurses, veterinarians, police officers, firefighters, or anything they dream, they can become! They know no boundaries!

My Project

I am requesting 6 nonfiction book sets for my students. They will be able to take books home every night and read with their parents or hopefully read on their own eventually. The books cover themes that we will study during the school year and support lessons that I teach as well. They will be able to look at community helpers, animals, frogs, and some interesting jobs!

In previous years students have only taken books home from the school's library, which happened once a week.

I want to ensure this happens every night! I want to see kids be excited about the world around them and their discovery of it.
