Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

"Pursue what makes you giggle!" My students are eager to explore Project-Based Learning concepts they are passionate about, and the 3Doodler pen can help them create three-dimensional prototypes of their creations.

My students are energetic, curious, eager learners in the third/fourth grade at an arts and technologyfocused charter school in Michigan.

I am lucky to be able to spend two years with my students through our school's looping program. Our school's mission is to provide an education that is deeply rooted in the arts (visual art, music, dance, and theater) and that integrates the arts into core subject areas. My students love to investigate, explore, wonder, and discover.

My Project

We will use the 3Doodler 3D printing pens as a tool to enhance our Project-Based Learning experiences. Students can go beyond pencil and paper to create real, manipulable, 3D models of their creations. They can design and create buildings, bridges, or other structures to illustrate social studies or mathematics concepts. They can create geometric figures, 3D stories, and models of plants and animals, just to name a few. Students will use the 3Doodler pens to help generate solutions to problems they brainstorm during Project-Based Learning. They will strengthen their skills in innovation, critical thinking, and collaboration as they learn to use emerging technologies in creative new ways.

New technologies are emerging every day, and students must know how to use these technologies as effective tools for problem solving and innovative thinking.

These 3D pens will be a fantastic tool for project-based, hands-on and minds-on learning experiences.
