My Students

We need makers, inventors, creators....and we are helping to grow them. Our students love to create and share. We are a school focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and want to give our kids what it takes to be the inventors, scientists and computer programmers of the future.

Our kids are kids....they come from widely varied backgrounds and experience levels.

They play hard, learn together, and they love technology. They learn best when they get to try things out for themselves and we try to give them the tools and opportunities to grow.

My Project

Dot and Dash are robots that the kids program. They come with cool tools that the kids can teach them to manipulate. From playing a xylophone, to racing through a maze created by the students, these cute robots will learn to follow the directions the students provide. Is coding hard or scary? Not to our kids!

This project will help our students see that coding can be fun.

They can create their own rules for Dot and Dash, experiencing what it is like to be a computer programmer. We hope to grow some amazing future programmers. We just don't know yet which ones they will be.
