My Students

I teach grades 6, 7, and 8 general music. I would like to give them a hands on way to learn music.

Students at our school are energetic and eager to learn.

They are well behaved and excited about music class. Our school services a wide variety of students of all races and abilities. Students at our school are kind to one another and are appreciative of their education.

My Project

The materials requested are a set of classroom digital pianos. The purchase of these pianos will allow students to work in pairs to learn how to play classic and popular songs from sheet music and by ear. The materials will allow students to access curriculum all year which will make curriculum more accessible.

Having digital pianos in the classroom will improve learning because it will allow students to practice reading sheet music throughout the year.

It will also allow them to improve their aural skills.
