This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine how quickly art supplies dwindle with 6 Art classes with up to 38 students. With excellent student behavior and amazing creativity, the storage areas become bare very quickly. Please help us keep our outstanding projects flowing and donate towards our much needed art supplies.

Our school is nestled in a beautiful area outside Orlando.

A recent construction boom has filled our school walls to the brim. Art classes can range between 38 to 45 students. We are in need of some basic art supplies which tend to run out fast with these large art classes.

My Project

Our students will use the white paper daily for their projects in the art room. They will draw and paint artworks based on cultures around the world. We will also learn about color theory and how to mix paint and blend oil pastels. We will also tie in cross curricular subjects such as math with radial designs. We will use science in the art room to draw plant and animal cells.

The students will be able to be creative with these basic supplies and while they are creating art they will gain a better sense of self, while learning about cultures around the world.
