Our Epson Printer Needs More Ink!

My students need Epson ink cartridges to refill the color printer in our classroom.

My Students

Have you ever had the horrifying experience to walk over to the printer only yo find the product you have printed is not what was expected? You find that the ink cartridges have run low and are printing in off colors. My class is experiencing this right now and it is impacting their final products.

Our students come from very diverse backgrounds.

We have over 30 different native languages spoken among out students Our school has often been referred to as the New York City of our district. Many of our students have moved often and bring those experiences with the to enrich our classroom. We have diversity in language, ethnicity, financial abilities, learning abilities, and more. In our classroom we have military family members, AVID students, special education students, gifted and talented students, at risk students, students who are learning the English language still, and student who are taking their first college classes while till in high school. What they have in common is the desire to learn. Every student gives 100% every day and deserve to have every strategy available to them to take advantage of every opportunity.

My Project

Once the materials arrive the projects my students will be able to produce will be endless. One of the first things they will be able to do is begin creating colorful magazine cover mock ups of various rulers that will help them connect the concepts. Being able to visualize concepts of different forms of governments and connect them will allow them to realize that each concept isn't a free standing idea, but a web of interconnecting ideas that support each other.

Students must see the relevance in the things being taught.

Providing as many hands on activities, where they are able to visualize concept and ideas, not just read about them, allows the student to take ownership of the concept and not just memorize, but to truly learn it. Every student is able to learn, they just need to find the learning strategy that works for them. Epson ink cartridges will provide a strategy for all my students to take advantage of.
