As with most middle school students, organization is one major growth area! We have found that one major barrier to lack of success of our middle school kiddos is that they are unorganized. As a grade level we are working to turn around the disorganization and we need your help with supplies!
I work with a beautiful group of 8th grade students at a charter school in OH.
The students are wonderful and are constantly seeking to expand their knowledge base! Each day the students come to school happy and eager to learn and that energy is felt in each classroom! Please help our students to expand their organizational skills!
In an effort to maintain current organizational systems, we are requesting 2 electronic hole punch machines so that teachers can easily make sure all worksheets and homework are hole punched and binder ready. In addition, 75 pencil pouches have been requested as the students need somewhere to put their pencils while they are carrying around ONLY their binders. Lastly the 5 sets of binder pocket folders will provide students with a place to put their important documents such as their incentive school "paychecks" and important papers that need to go home. So far teachers have been able to provide students with binders and dividers, but now we ask for assistance with measures that will help to maintain their current organizational structure! Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!
Helping our students maintain organizational systems will help our students continue to be successful!
The improved organization will ensure that students have a clear place for their notes and HW and will ensure that students are not misplacing important documentation from the school.
