My students need a Mimio Interactive Whiteboard System for our classroom. As a brand new charter STEM school, our goal is to provide a 21st Century learning experience.

My Students

Each day in our classroom I will strive to provide a learning experience that incorporates 21st Century technology which provides the students and I with access to visual tools to support and encourage understanding, participation, and cooperative learning.

At our school, we desire to have students inquire about what they are learning.

We want them to ask and search for alternative ways of "describing it, demonstrating it, and/or presenting it." In order to do this, there needs to be current and up-to-date technology that is available and easy to incorporate and manipulate within the classroom. It should be functional and practical with ease-of-use for both the teacher and student alike.

My Project

Using cooperative learning, I expect my students to model, discuss, and share their ideas through various available pieces of technology. Through the purchase of this product, the standard whiteboard and marker technology is transformed into a more diversified instrument that has vast capabilities and can provide instant visual access to the Internet and other assistive software from a computer and video projector.

By helping to purchase this product, you are allowing students to become more literate and aware of the capabilities that technology offers in the 21st Century.

They themselves will have the chance to interact with this product and have their own learning experiences enhanced.
