My Students
Here at J Elementary, we are very fortunate to have a kiln! My students have this awesome opportunity to create 3-D ceramic sculptures and they all love it!
Our school consists of approximately 550 diverse students, which includes 61% who qualify for free and reduced lunches.
I feel that all of our students enjoy art, express their creativity and feel successful. Kids love art and have a need for self-expression!
My Project
Each year our students ask when we will be making our ceramic project. They are always very excited and eager to begin! To keep it exciting, I change our projects from year to year. We have made castles, fish, pigs, Angry Birds, and this year, we are creating Gnomes! Our students take great pride in their art and they have something that will last for years to come a beautiful ceramic sculpture! The glazes I am asking for are the final step in the ceramic process. Supplying my students a variety of colored glazes excites and inspires their creativity! Wouldn't you like to be a part of their creative experience?
Do you remember your elementary art classes?
Did you have the opportunity to create clay sculptures? Now is the time to leave an everlasting memory for our kids! By being a contributor to our fine arts program, you are becoming part of our student's success! By providing ceramic glazes, you are instilling great pride, achievement and success among our kiddos grades K through 5! Thank You for your donation!
