My students need additional hands on resources. I have chosen materials such as the Properties of Earth Activity Tub, Magna Tiles set, and U.S. Government Resource Box.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are hands on and active students. They learn best while working in small groups on activities that teach a concept.
My students come from a low income community with parents that want nothing but the best, but sadly cannot afford to.
The students are parents are caring and dedicated to school, but have trouble learning. When they get to experience a situation they can relate.
My Project
The resources I have requested will help fill gaps in many areas. The students will be able work and simulate different activities. Scholastic News will keep my students up to date on the latest in current events. The Science and U.S. Government tubs will simulate different scenarios that are appropriate for a fourth grade students and finally the Magnetic shapes will help my students in MANY areas of math including symmetry, area and perimeter, angles and so much more!
By donating to our classroom, you would be giving my students an opportunity to engage themselves in learning.
You cannot force knowledge on children. They learn best when they are having fun and are interested in the topic. Donating will help.
