"Accept Only The Best!" This is the motto we live by! The King High School Marching Lions is an organization dedicated to raising a generation of world changers through excellence in music! Each year we strive to present memorable performances to each audience we encounter - sharing our passion.
The King High School Marching Lions is comprised of an eclectic group of young adults encompassing a number of ethnicities and backgrounds.
We are a group of individuals committed to presenting the best that our institution has to offer. Located in the inner city, we consist of students which represent the traditional, KAPS, and international Baccalaureate programs. As a proverbial mixing bowl of cultures, we use our individual uniqueness to strengthen our influence as a whole!
My Project
We are in desperate need of additional instruments for our percussion students. We are continuing to grow every year and in response to this, we are running out of instruments to play. This will assist in all students contributing to their integral roles as members of our incredible marching band with a lineage of exceptional music performance.
Donations for this project will allow an instrument to be in every student's hand and will enhance the learning process greatly by not requiring alternative lessons to be given to those who do not have instruments on hand.
This will also add an additional element to our marching ensemble.
