Our classroom needs a laminator to make student activities, picture and word sorts, and reusable centers activities.
My students are a sweet bunch of kids!
They love learning and come to school eager to learn each day. Each one of them has their own special contribution that they bring to our classroom community.
Our school is located in a rural part of Florida. The school is in a low-income community that is involved in every way possible. The parents of my students truly care for their child's education and do everything they can to support our classroom and school.
My Project
I will be able to hand make more student center activities with my own classroom laminator. My students enjoy playing with the activities that I create and they will last even longer when laminated! Having a laminator will also be a great resource to have when I want to make flashcards or other student resources to send home.
We go through glue sticks like crazy! Having glue sticks for each student will allow us to complete more hands-on learning projects.
We will use the storage bins in our classroom during our Daily 5 centers. Having a colored bin at each center will help my students find their materials and books all in one location.
The one minute sand timers will be used for student fluency checks. My students love timing each other read for a minute. The sand timers will be perfect for this!
My students come in every day with a huge smile on their faces.
As their teacher, I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to better their learning experience. My students would enjoy learning, even more than they do now, if I had all of these resources in my classroom.
