My students need A-D leveled guided reading books for small-group instruction.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Hall's classroom raised $1,338
This project is fully funded
My Students
"Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him." Maya Angelou
The students I work with come from ethnically and racially diverse backgrounds.
Many speak English as a second language and receive free or reduced price lunch. I co-teach in a kindergarten classroom of 24 students during literacy instruction. They are excited to learn and love school!
My Project
The guided reading books will help to provide differentiated reading instruction to students during small groups. Students will be able to choose from a variety of books that are engaging, and also at the correct reading level. The guided reading books will also be able to be used for independent reading practice.
These books will be a valuable resource to the classroom.
The differentiated books will help students to be successful in learning reading strategies and to become independent readers!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
