My Students

Our school is very special! We are a small school that has a very high free or reduced price lunch rate. We are very close and look after each other. Our students are cared about, valued, and exposed to how great learning can be! Because of the size of our school, we are all very close and look out for each other.

Our students may not always have the encouragement at home they need to know that education is important, which is why we are there for them!

We love them and want the best for them and want to encourage them to do their best no matter what they are doing! They come to school knowing this and it is such an encouragement to them!

My Project

I am requesting dramatic play materials for my students. With the items I'm requesting, students will be able to pretend to be Veterinarians and take care of a puppy. They will pretend to run an Ice Cream Shop and learn to complete orders, and exchange "money". There will also be a camping area with items that look real to pretend to camp, and a fishing set. These items will allow students to explore their creativity and their imagination.

By receiving the materials I am requesting, students in my classroom will have the freedom to create new and exciting types of dramatic play.

By providing opportunities for students to use their imagination and creativity with their peers, they become more open as learners, they are more likely to engage in challenging work with a positive attitude and will ultimately contribute to their communities with insightful, creative problem solving skills.
