My Students
Storytelling is a huge part of kindergarten. While my students have fantastic imaginations, they sometimes struggle to transfer their verbal stories to written stories.
I have a very busy group of students who are stimulated by hands-on activities.
They thrive when they are able build and create. During our writing time, there are some students who struggle to write stories due to the hands-on nature of their learning style. By adding this hands-on aspect to writing, students will have their learning needs met.
My Project
With these Lego kits, my students will be able to build and make their stories come to life. By creating the scenes in the stories and being able to come back to what was already built in the following writing period, my students will also be able to write longer stories with more details.
Having Legos to build stories with will greatly impact my students.
By making writing come alive, my students who are sometimes reluctant to write will be more inclined to complete their work and share their stories.
