My students need supplies to learn science in a hands on way. Terraqua Columns, Matter and Energy in ecosystems kits, and River ecosystem tanker some of the materials I am requesting.
We are from a Title 1 school. My students come to school with an eagerness to learn. I want to grow my students curiosity to learn by showing them that learning can be fun. Mrs. Fizzle always said to " take chances, make mistakes, get messy!" and my class does this with hands on learning and STEM.
They are a great group of students very eager to learn and be the best!
I am already in love with their enthusiasm. My students learn best with hands on experiments and first hand look at things. They have a great enthusiasm for learning and for math and science.
My Project
My students will use the materials in this project to learn about ecosystems. With the River tank ecosystem my students can see first hand everyday how this ecosystem works. With the TerrAqua columns students can see how ecosystems will interact. With the ecosystem unit kit my students will learn about food webs and through hands on activities learn the factors necessary for an ecosystem.
These materials will greatly improve my students hands on experience with ecosystems.
Many of my students have not had a chance to see how an ecosystem can look first hand. These materials will give them a better understanding of how an ecosystem works.
