Kindergarten Writing Center

My students need a writing center and story writing paper.

My Students

A writing center would make a big difference and mean a lot to my students and me.

These students are 5 and 6 year olds who attend a Title 1 school and 70% of the them are on free or reduced lunch.

Most come from homes where only one parent works but that does not stop them from learning. I would like to teach them to express themselves on paper at an early age.

My Project

This writing center will store all the supplies that my students need to be creative. It will hold books, writing paper, copying paper, construction paper, pencils, scissors and glue. Students will be able to use these supplies to create stories, reports, invitations and books.

This writing center will improve students creativity in writing and allow them to use all the supplies at the table.

They will be able to write their own stories, list reports, invitations and books. My students will learn to be creative and express their thoughts through writing. You can support us by donating this writing center to our class.
