My kindergartners are busy, just like any classroom. We have a lot to cover in such a short time at school. We cover reading, writing, math and art everyday in our classroom. We are working hard to learning our alphabet. My goal for my class is to have everyone be ready to succeed in first grade.
My students are amazing, I have 10 girls and 8 boys!
They love to color, create and explore. We no longer have an art teacher so all of our art is done in the classroom. Our school is in a low income area. Many of my students live with aunts, uncles or grandma's because a parent is in jail or unable to take care of them properly. This does not affect our ability to want to learn and care about each other.
My Project
I would love to have these chair pockets so my students and I can spend more time learning and creating instead of taking time to pass out supplies they need and then collect them. If the students need their math journals they can simply take it out of their chair pockets rather then wait 5 minutes for everyone to get theirs.
This is an amazing organizational tool we can use efficiently in our classroom.
This donation will give my students more instructional time to learn and play, without wasting it on passing out and collecting.
We need all the time we can get during the day to improve ourselves and learn.
A donation is very much appreciated!
