My Students
Imagine what it is like to share one book with 30 students. Imagining it isn't tough, but doing it sure is.
We are a Title I school with students who come to use with issues ranging from A-Z.
However, they are phenomenal when it comes to the desire to learn. The students here are determined to walk away with valuable tools to help them in their lives and they really have a passion to be successful.
My Project
"Inch and Miles: The Journey to Success" introduces 15 concepts having to do with personal progress and character education. Concepts like personal best, determination, cooperation, friendship, fitness, and several others, help the students become more aware of themselves, how to be successful in their personal and social lives. With this book, the students will be able to analyze and discover insight to their progress for success.
It is important for students to be able to know and understand themselves before they are "released" into the big old world.
By teaching these concepts to the students build character, increases personal and social relations, and helps them be successful in their delicate lives.
