My students need an Apple iPad Third Generation and case to enhance their learning and increase the amount of technology used in the classroom.

My Students

Technology is constantly changing and since it is very expensive for all students to have an iPad the next best thing is to have a classroom iPad that can be used through the already purchased Apple TV, to project the iPad for all to see and benefit from.

As with every district in the state of Illinois, our school district is facing financial challenges and budget concerns.

I am looking for a creative way to continue meeting the needs of the students in my classroom without asking for additional funds from the district. I am lucky enough to teach 110 students each day. These 7th and 8th graders are what keep my day going and put a smile on my face. Our school district has faced financial problems with the state budget continuing to get tighter each year.

My Project

Having an iPad would not make a small impact on the lives of my students. Instead, it could CHANGE their lives forever. My classroom could become a model for other classrooms, other schools, other teachers, and other families. The impact could be far-reaching and change many lives with this great gift. There are so many educational applications available today for the students to use. Having iPads available to them will allow them to dive deeper and get the additional support they need with each math lesson. Adding the iPad to the lesson will also keep math exciting and keep the students attention as using this technology is what their generation has grown up using. I would also ask for a case for the iPad so that it is protected, as the iPad gets passes around and used by everyone.
