My Students

Our classroom is located in a beautiful, historical building. However, the rooms are quite small and there is little space for desktop computers. The students need to have access to 21st century technology in a 20th century classroom!

Our school has a very involved parent population who give support with time, talent, and financial resources; however, the financial support is used to provide more teachers.

There is simply no money to provide technology upgrades in our cash-strapped district. My very bright, motivated students love to learn new ideas. Technology and media access help broaden their classroom experiences.

My Project

Last year, Donor's Choose generous donors provided our classroom with four iPads to enhance student learning, but four iPads are hard to share with 26 students. We have requested excited two more iPads to give students a chance to more frequently access technology.

Technology is a tool for learning and our students can use it in ways that teachers can hardly imagine, but their imaginations cannot soar unless they have access to the tools.

My students can learn, explore, create and express their ideas using iPads!
