Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students attend a diverse school in Atlanta, GA. The students in my class are full of great ideas, and great answers. They are in need of some resources to help them show their great ideas, resources to challenge them, and resources to keep our classroom running smoothly.

My students are some of the most curious, intelligent, and kind-hearted people in the world.

They have a love of learning, and a deep commitment to their education. These amazing students should have access to the resources that are going to help them reach their full potential. They love to explore Math through extension lesson and remediation

My Project

The Netbooks will allow students to do project-based learning assignments in cooperative groups. They will be able to work together, practicing their math skills on educational sites for math. The earphones will permit students to listen to videos and presentation without interrupting their classmates.

The benefit of a Netbook is immeasurable to some but to these students it's the gateway to information.

Our children are our future. It is exciting to think about all the amazing things that my students will do in the future. As their teacher, it is my responsibility to help them become the best students they can be. I know that I can improve their classroom experience by providing them with these resources.
