My Students
Think back to a time before we had the Internet. It's hard to think about our world without technology. My students deserve to have more technology opportunities in our classroom. Being able to use an iPad daily would help to increase their technology knowledge and provide enrichment for academics.
When I say that I have the best class in South Carolina, it's true!
I have 24 students who love to read, love math manipulatives, and can't get enough science experiments. Being able to increase their love of learning for all of these subjects would be terrific.
My Project
Several schools in our districts have been given iPads for their classroom. Being a charter school, state funding is limited and that's not a priority right now. If we can incorporate technology into the classroom, other teachers will see the benefit of this tool. The iPad will allow us to use apps that go hand and hand in what we are learning in class.
These students deserve the best learning opportunities possible.
I want to give them the materials they need to be successful. Having a classroom iPad would benefit all of my students.
