My students need pedometers to accurately count their steps and convert their physical activities into mileage.

My Students

Do you remember the fun and excitement of every physical education class? Remember the colorful equipment and outrageous games and sports, the use of technology? We want to provide just that to our elementary students!

Our kids are elementary age and full of energy.

We are a Charter school with limited funds due to the latest in budget cuts. Our physical education facility is the great outdoors. We are not complaining. We love it! But the harsh environment takes its toll on our equipment.

My Project

Pedometers have been used for centuries to measure distances traveled. Our students will be setting personal fitness goals and using the pedometers to measure distances traveled. The new resources and equipment will bring a smile back to our faces and the sweat back to our brow. With the new equipment we can reach our personal activity goals.

Our students strive to improve their physical fitness with every physical education class.

The pedometers will allow us to improve our fitness while tracking our progress in a fun innovative way. Students who have fun while being physically active are more inclined to be physically active adults.
