It is so important for kids to feel organized and have their own space within the classroom. I teach two blocks of Language Arts to about 50 students each day. When my second group of kids comes in my room there is not any space left for their materials. We need supplies to help.
We are a group of learners focused on growing in our reading and writing.
We have many materials that we bring back and forth from class. We read and write daily and want a place where we can keep our materials for class without interrupting our learning.
My Project
My students need book bins and seat storage sacks to help organize books and materials as we work on reading and writing. My second block of students will use the chair organizers as their space to keep all materials handy. When students are reading and writing, all other materials can be kept in their chair organizers to provide space on the desks for maximum learning. The book bins will be for both groups of kids. They read a variety of texts and need a place to keep them organized and close. Right now we are using giant Ziploc bags. These are OK, but they are messy, the children have trouble locating their bag quickly and I think the vibrant individual boxes can be accessed more easily.
This donation will help my students be more focused on learning and help them use their time wisely.
Students will not have to work with extra supplies in their way and I will be able to more effectively help them find materials that are needed in our fast paced, rigorous classroom.
