My Students

My Pre-K students are hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated to learn. This age group of students performs best with hands-on learning activities. Learning through play allows them to discover the world around them.

Pre-K students are a diverse mix of children attending their first year of school.

With their many personalities, it has been fun watching them make friends and become part of a classroom family. Our school is located downtown in a wonderful, midsized metropolitan area. We have a beautiful city park near us where we are able to take walking field trips.

My Project

Organization is an important skill for every student to achieve. This is why I am requesting binders to help keep my students organized. Having the proper school supplies helps teach and enforce organization. Many children are visual learners and having the day's lesson in a tangible form gives students a sense of accomplishment. Creativity gives an outlet for students to express themselves. My students need scissors, colored pencils and other supplies to continue using art in the classroom. The proper supplies are critical for this opportunity. Students will be able to use their scissors to construct new inventive art pieces. With your help, students will be able to take pride in their art work and will display it in a beautiful and organized classroom.

These donations will allow my students to be able to have art resources at their fingertips.

An organized classroom environment will allow the children to feel calm and secure, helping them build confidence in themselves and their art ability.
