My students need more books to check out from the library. I am requesting various types of books to add to our collection.

My Students
My students mostly come from low-income families. They love when we get new books!
Literacy is a struggle for most of our students, so we try to promote literacy throughout our school.
New books definitely encourage our students. We also use the AR program so that students read on their levels and earn points. This is my second year in this position, and I am trying to freshen up the library.
My Project
My students check out books weekly. They get so excited when I have new books to offer. They will be able to take these books home and return them to the library when they're done. They will also use these to earn points and reach their quarterly AR goals.
These donations to this project will improve the library because students will know I am trying to update our collection.
Though this is only my second year here, I am trying to purge the older, deteriorated books and add new books to our collection; this keeps things current which my readers notice.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
More than half of students from low‑income households
