This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We have tricycles and wagons to ride, but we cannot ride them without helmets!
My students are Pre-Kindergarten students who are all from low-income families.
The majority of my students, or I like to call them, my little friends, come from non-English speaking families. These precious children have had very few early learning experiences, which is why they have earned a placement in my classroom. Each of them are very curious about the world around them, and enjoys learning through hands-on experiences and exploration.
My Project
A large part of the pre-k experience involves supporting physical development. Riding tricycles and wagons helps develop both large and small motor skills in addition to supporting a healthy lifestyle. We have the tricycles and wagons, but the students cannot ride them because we do not have the 20 helmets to protect their heads.
You can help support these students!
Your kind donation will give these children the opportunity to develop important motor skills and healthy habits that will stay with them for a lifetime!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
