This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The goals I set for each of the individual children in my classroom each year is to model and encourage being a life-long learner, to be BRAVE, to take risks while learning, and respect each other as well as yourself.

My students are energetic learners who are creative and risk takers.

My students are not afraid to try something new, fail, then try again. They are an inspiration to me. My students have a variety of gifts, each individual contributes in his/her own unique way. We work hard and have fun together!

My Project

My students need the Goldie Blox series to encourage creativity while incorporating literature; the additional book & blocks to promote engineering & imagination in STEM. My students will use these resources by incorporating communication and collaboration to create products. Each resource provides a different level of challenge to meet each child's needs. My students will learn how to create products and use problem solving skills, as well as communicate with other what they have created.

I am just beginning to incorporate STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) in my classroom.

These resources will get me and my students started successfully. They will improve my students' communication, creativity and collaboration skills.
