Going Paperless With Google Classroom

My students need Chromebooks! My reading class uses Google Classroom every day! We are hoping to get a class set!

My Students

My reading class loves using technology everyday! It keeps them engaged and interested in learning. It also prepares them for learning in the 21st century! They are able to read e-books, complete all assignments, have class discussions, and more, all in Google Classroom!

I teach third grade reading.

My students are innovative and love learning especially in new ways with technology! However, I teach at a Title 1 school where a majority of our students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. We are in a rural area, and some of our students have limited access Internet and technology at home. By integrating Google Classroom into our reading class, students are engaging in a technology rich learning experience that will help prepare them for all future endeavors! We have limited funds for technology and greatly appreciate your donation!

My Project

Students will use the Chrome Books for all Internet based activities, remediation, review, and enrichment activities. They will mostly be used with Google Classroom which allows students to complete assignments in a online environment and collaborate with each other. Google classroom also extends learning beyond the school walls and allows students to see all of their work from home!

This project will affect our students greatly because it will allow our students to interact with technology in their reading classroom.

They are motivated by technology and are more engaged when using Google Classroom. Thank you so much for helping us in this project!
