Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Children need to move and manipulate their minds. Games and centers are the BEST way to help reinforce skills. All students have different learning styles and what better way to open their world to comprehension than through interactive games!

How did you remember material in school?

Maybe it was from the tools and resources you had available to you. Flint, MI is a high poverty and high crime city. Many of my students come from poverty stricken homes. I am doing my best to provide them with a great education so they can break the chain of poverty and attend college.

My Project

I am asking for games that will help teach student life long skills, critical thinking and reading strategies. This will help take stress away from just using paper and pencil. Having hands-on material is a great learning style to help students become more successful. With that being said, we will use these materials daily. These supplies are a key to my students learning. I am excited to receive new materials!

I have a dream that all of my students will be college ready, and become successful in life.

With gaming, my class can obtain a more positive outcome academically. I focus on academics and how to be a good citizen! I know my students will succeed because I care about them. Thank you in advance for your support!
