My students need assorted items as educational materials as well as reinforcers for my students diagnosed with Autism.

My Students

I have a self-contained classroom with students at various levels. It has been challenging to be able to provide the materials for all the students with the budget given.

We are a behavioral day treatment program for students with Autism.

Our classroom is unique and we receive support for many different specialists including psychologists, board certified behavior analysts, and instructional strategists, but unfortunately we are at a shortage of age appropriate materials.

My Project

These materials will enhance small group times as well as individual learning times with students. They will learn different concepts within math curricular, literacy, and writing curricular. Our students are children and it is important to remember that and it is amazing to see their bright faces light up when they understand or grasp a concept for the first time.

This will help to improve students learning and enthusiasm for learning.

As a staff we have the challenge of having each child so uniquely different, and each child is at a completely different point developmentally. As a lead teacher, I cannot keep up with funding materials needed for my students.
