My Students

Remember art class in elementary school? My students are very creative, however we do not have an art program in our school district. The individual teachers are art teachers and I would like to let my students be creative using art supplies they would not get to use unless I bought them for them.

My students are fun and creative kiddos that love to create!

Our school is amazing, however we do not have an art program in our school district. Most of our 'art' tends to be simple paper/crayon art. I would LOVE to let my students really be creative with different media to create real pieces of art work to show their parents.

My Project

My students will use the mugs to create gifts for their parents by taking pictures of things they do in class and make a collage on their own to add to the mug. With the oil pastels, they will be able to learn how to blend colors together to make great looking art. We do not have paint brushes, so along with the paint brushes and acrylic paint they can paint beautiful pictures that their parents may frame and put up in their house. The possibilities are endless and I can not wait to create art memories with my students, just like the art I created in school.

This donation will allow my students to use creativity to create beautiful works of art that will hang in our school hallways and in their homes.

My students will feel like they are creating real art, rather than just coloring a picture. My students will be able to show off their artistic talents and I will be able to teach my students mini art lessons along with each project.
