My Students

My 3rd grade class is full of ACTIVE learners! I work hard to create hands-on and engaging lessons to captivate their attention and foster their creativity because I know I have a class of different learners. This also means they all like to learn their own way, in their own space!

My class of spunky 3rd graders are fortunate to be in a school that supports teachers in their quest to do whatever it takes to help children succeed.

My students' favorite place to learn is on the floor with a clipboard because it is so much more comfortable than a hard-plastic chair! With this project, I can offer them more alternatives to options of seating.

My Project

It is no secret children need to move, and many work better when they are allowed to wiggle while they work! Right now our classroom does not have the resources to allow this. I am requesting wobble chairs and wobble discs as an alternative to traditional hard-plastic chair seating in our classroom.

This project will give my students CHOICE in where they learn best.

It will allow my students who need to move while they work a greater chance to succeed in the classroom. It will finally complete our quest at an alternative/flexible seating, 21st century classroom!
