I love the quote by Diana Oblinger that states, "There are a lot of positive uses for technology in the classroom. The ultimate objective is to find the right path to maximize learning. The path we are interested in means attaining a Windows 10 laptop & learning more about project-based learning.

We are a tight community that works together.

Our parental support is so amazing! Our local school has about 550 students. Teaching is something I truly enjoy. I love working with my adorable 1st grade students. Our teachers and students are active in utilizing technology in our classrooms daily. T

My Project

My classroom is in need of a new laptop and mouse. With the 2014 upgrades from XP to Windows 7, my student XP computers slowed down tremendously. I know having a new faster computer with more memory as well as a larger hard drive would benefit my students with ongoing interactive and project-based learning lessons. A combination of the technology resources has helped me create effective hands-on interactive lessons for my students. However, we do have issues with the computer causing problems. Simply stated, if we had a computer with more memory, it would alleviate many of our issues. The Windows 10 computer I'd like has more memory that would allow movement without freezing while the lessons are taking place. My students and I are interested in learning more about project based learning which would mesh many subjects and lessons. As a teacher, I love "Empowering Students Through Art." This resource could help my students mesh academics and the arts.

With this specific plan of action, I know that project based learning will offer awesome ways to implement powerful lessons using a Windows 10 laptop.
