Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students will benefit from reading Social Studies Literature Libraries books.

My students are ELLs and live in a low poverty area in the Bronx.

Most of my students are struggling readers and many of them don't have access to books. My students like to read interesting books that will help them learn about the world. They need to read informational text that will help them become strong readers.

My Project

Engaging students with literature libraries such as exploring landforms, our government, continents and New York State will help build strong readers and learn about their world .Through this books students will learn and understand about the world they live,

These books will help them develop content knowledge and ability to express their learning using evidence from the text.

Supporting our project will provide my students the opportunity to explore and travel through books.
