My classroom is full of kids ready to start their day with eagerness to learn! The children are excited to work on new technology by the end of the school term, I will have kids wanting to learn new adventurous things through reading and researching on the laptop and ipad.
I have an intelligent group of children who are very curious and eager to learn when they first step in the classroom.
The students are very energetic when asking questions about particular subjects. What stands out the most during the course of the day is reading, writing and math. Reading tends to allow the students to be involved together in classroom discussions. Writing is also a particular area that they love as well and helps to provide them daily practice using their skills as beginning writers. Math provides another area that the students embrace their use of calculations. I have seen them improve in these areas since the beginning of the school year. Throughout the year my students have been motivated to be more creative working together in teams to present imaginative projects with their peers. With the use of the new tools they can be mobile in the classroom to work freely and creative searching for extraordinary examples that represent our future leaders.
My Project
The materials that are being requested: laptop, ipad and case will be used in the classroom for many different projects throughout the course of the year. There are students in the classroom that do not have technology available in the home to research materials. For example, the ipad and laptop will allow these students a choice to select technology through reading, math, science and social studies to increase their knowledge working in groups, centers and free time to explore and be creative collaborating with their peers daily. My students will be provided ample time to use technology during the school year. I have total confidence that they will use this tool for their next level of understanding for future leaders of America. I want my students to grasp hold of these tools so they will be able to use them in the future. I cannot stress enough that the use of these academic devices will help my students gain knowledge throughout their academic school years.
Through the use of an ipad and laptop, my students will be creative and have the opportunity to produce original projects.
The technology that the children don't have in the home can be made up in my classroom. I would love to see my students enhance their learning skills through the use of technology equipment daily. Overall, the students will acquire the knowledge through the use of these academic tools during their school career.
