Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students are eager to learn, and I would like to have the resources to provide them opportunities to feel successful. I want my students to be ready for the next year and lay a foundation that will help them throughout many years. "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader"

Many of my students are from low income families.

The school provides free food for all students as well as fresh fruits as snack three times a week. The students like technology and love to work on the interactive programs provided by the school. They also enjoy hands-on projects in science.

My Project

The students will use the laptops to access different math and reading programs that will lay the foundation of what is being taught in the classroom. It will give them extra opportunities to see and hear different strategies used in both subjects. These programs also will help them receive help on their level, even if they are below or above grade level.

This donation will give the students resources that they may not receive from home.

They can access books, reading programs, and math programs to enhance their learning. It will motivate them to learn and explore on their own.
