My Students

Can you imagine interacting with text or math problems with just the touch of your fingertip? An iPad is a great way to keep students engaged as well as allowing them to be independent learners.

I have a group of 20 boys and girls in my classroom.

They attend a public school in a rural setting. They are very eager to learn, and love using technology! They have become proficient with the SMARTboard and are eager to explore other forms of technology. The ability to interact with these iPads will keep all the students engaged, no matter what subject is being taught.

My Project

My students need two iPads to help them explore the many apps created for reading, math, phonics and many other content areas. The ability to interact with the iPad will keep the students engaged, no matter what subject is being taught. iPads also help to foster independent learning as the students will be using the iPads to enhance the subject being taught. Your donation would not only provide the i-pads, but it also provides my students with the chance to learn and practice the skills that they need to be successful second graders in the 21st century

Many of my students do not have access to technology outside of school, so by giving my students the opportunity to explore technology through iPads every day in school they will be practicing the skills that they need to be successful second graders in the 21st Century.

iPads will also enhance learning in all subject areas as there are so many apps that can be used to reinforce skills taught in the classroom.
